The aim of this project was to create both a poster and social media advertisements for the promotion of a production for the Royal Shakespeare Company's Summer Season. 
Adopting a conceptual interpretation of William Shakespeare's The Tempest, the visual approach was established first through the poster design. In tandem with the core idea, it was essential for this brief that the design solution created was fresh, contemporary and relevant. With this in mind, there was a careful consideration on how the conceptual interpretation of the play was visualised, ensuring that a sense of the source material was maintained yet simultaneously given a breath of fresh air and a stylish edge.
The approach for the social media advertisements was to utilise both teasers and a full cut of the animated video to be viewed as separate Instagram commercials. Each advert is consistent with the creative direction of the project and underpins the sleek aesthetic through snappy and kinetic visuals.
