The objective of this project was to create and poster which would highlight the rising issue of disposable plastics, in particular the prolific consumption of single use, plastic takeaway cups. Running in tandem with the ideals of the proposed Latte Levy, the goal of the campaign was to try and change consumer habits.
My work in this project included in-depth research of the issue, which also focused on consumer habits and attitudes regarding the mounting environmental crisis and their desire, or lack thereof, for change. The concept I later developed was as a direct result of this research, paying particular attention to the audience's mindset and the very brief chance offered through poster campaigns to illicit change.

The aim of this poster campaign for the proposed Latte Levy, was to encourage its audience to take responsibility for their usage of disposable plastics. Avoiding a heavy-handed approach, a humorous tone was adopted in tandem with contemporary illustrations to transform an otherwise disheartening environmental message into one that can appeal to and inspire its viewer to take this small step to a cleaner environment.
